This does not imply everything must always be a 3-ring circus but you can give it fresh, upbeat attitude with spelling tests and times tables to reflect on your child’s learning potential and enjoyment.
Limit interruptions
The biggest interruption can be your phone. Get good answering machines to use during regular learning times. You may use even voice mail. Record messages which state the time when you are educating your kids and that you will get back when done. Tell relatives and friends the situation, and they will learn to respect these times. Keep the learning for the kids sacred, and the family gets to benefits a lot from this.

This does not mean you to stay with things that are working. Just be careful to flit about like butterflies in the flower field.
Surround yourself with mentors
Whether it is a support group or an online group or great mom you came across at church, keep in touch with such people. Ask them questions or helpful advice, and they will be happy to help you most likely. Even good home education magazines can be of help.
