Limit interruptions
The biggest interruption can be your phone. Get good answering machines to use during regular learning times. You may use even voice mail. Record messages which state the time when you are educating your kids and that you will get back when done. Tell relatives and friends the situation, and they will learn to respect these times. Ensure you snuggle and gather up the brood on your couch with good classics. Reading aloud is a great activity for the family. Even the experienced reader like reading aloud more so when they do not need to sound out each word and get the ones they do not know.
